The inland bays around Bear Point Marina (where SV Atlas calls home) have been a breeding ground for dolphins and a safe place to raise their young for many years. The bottlenose dolphins we see on our cruises love to perform. You’ll see them jump, roll, and surf next to the boat! Be sure to bring your camera to catch it all.

Swim & Nature Sail
While Dolphins are the most commonly seen marine life during our cruises, we often see pelicans, osprey, herons and other schools of fish. These trips are perfect for the kids as they will get to see mother nature up close. On these trips you can bask in the sun, go for a swim, help sail or pilot the boat, take pictures of wild life, or just enjoy the sailing.

Sunset Cruise
The Orange Beach, Alabama area offers some of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere. Our sunset cruises give you the privilege of experiencing this away from the shore with an unobstructed view of the horizon. You can leave your worries behind when you set sail on the Atlas for a gorgeous Gulf Coast sunset cruise. The Atlas cruises the back bay waters of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Alabama with a warm ocean breeze and a beautiful sunset as a backdrop. Relax at the end of another perfect day in paradise as you catch the sun slowly sink beneath the horizon. This is the perfect trip for families, couples, and group trips.

Blue Angels Cruise
Sail away with us to a spectacular vantage point to watch the United States Navy Blue Angels, stationed at NAS Pensacola. An extended cruise through Orange Beach to the eastern tip of Perdido Key is a perfect way to do just that! The day starts in the early AM at Bear Point Marina where we will depart and sail through the intercoastal waterway to a protected lagoon, which is a part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore U.S. National Parks. Once anchored you can enjoy the sun on deck, get into the water and swim/float or go to shore to play in the sand. The Blue Angels practices will last approximately 55 minutes and are typically held Tuesdays and Wednesday, March to November. We will be at anchor for a variable amount of time approximately 1-1.5 hour(s).

Private Moonlight Cruise
Limited cruises available once a month when the full moon lights up the gulf coast sky. Under the glow of a full moon off the coast of Orange Beach, Alabama. Cruise through the night for a romantic boat ride and take in the sky of twinkling stars and a moon that will leave you breathless. Listen to the lapping of the water against the hull of the boat and take in the shimmer of the Ocean as it dances in the moonlight. Certainly, it will be both awe inspiring and breathtaking and you are sure to talk about it for years to come.

Private All Day Cruise
Looking to get away for the day? An all-day trip through Orange Beach to Ft McRee at the eastern tip of Perdido Key is a perfect way to do just that! The day starts in the early AM at Bear Point Marina where we will depart and sail through the intercoastal waterway to Ft McRee, which is a part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore U.S. National Parks only accessible by boat. The sail takes approximately 8 hours to get there and back depending on winds and tides that day. We will be at anchor for a variable amount of time approximately 3-4 hours. Once we get to our destination we will drop anchor and put kayaks and paddleboards in the water for some fun in the sun. There are a variety of different activities to enjoy around the area including venturing to explore the old fort site, swimming in the crystal-clear water, or playing on the sandy beaches. While your group is enjoying the weather captain and crew will prepare lunch. After lunch we will pack up to head back to our port of call. An all-day trip is also a great way to take in local wildlife sightings, including dolphins.

Morning Beach Run & Fishing Cruise
Looking for a relaxing morning? Come sail down the beach coastline with us! The day starts in the early AM at Bear Point Marina where we will depart and sail through the intercoastal waterway to the Perdido Pass to get into the Gulf waters and head down the beach. Once we are in the Gulf water we will set up some trolling rods and wait for the fish to hit.

- Fishing gear provided along with bait
- No fishing license required

Private Bachelor & Bachelorette Party Cruise
Make it a day to remember forever. Whether planning an intimate evening or something a little more fun we are here to help you plan the perfect sailboat outing for your bachelor or bachelorette party. Our charters offer a fun filled private trip aboard a Gemini 105 MC catamaran, including captain and crew. All charters begin at Bear Point Marina and we’ll work with you to create the perfect itinerary based on your needs. A typical party is a day sail, dolphin watching, and fun in the sun including a mid-trip anchorage for a refreshing swim. An additional option is to skip the swim and instead take a run over to a local establishment called Pirates Cove for food and drink. No matter which option you choose be sure to pack a large ice chest with your favorite beverages and food, if desired. Trips are typically 3 hours in length. Please calling for pricing options.
