The U.S. Navy Blue Angels have just wrapped up their Pensacola Beach Airshow! We are blessed here on the gulf coast to enjoy not only a couple large shows a year, including the Blue Angel Homecoming Show in November, but also frequent practices throughout the summer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays over the Museum at NAS Pensacola.
The Blue Angels were originally flight exhibition team in the United States Navy in the 1940s and have flow many difference flight demonstration aircrafts. Currently the Blue Angels fly the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet which they transitioned to in 2021 as well as a C-130 Hercules “Fat Albert”.
