Sail Atlas Charters is so very excited to have our tourists coming back to the gulf coast beaches! Spring break in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area starts at the beginning of March as the weather begins to warm. Average temperatures around this timeframe range from highs in the mid to high 70s and lows in the mid to high 50s. Frequent threats of severe weather make for some awesome balcony thunderstorm viewings. As the water gets warmer all the wildlife slowly begins to become more active including the hummingbird migration as well as the opening of several local fishing seasons (i.e. trigger fish and snapper).
